KOTA KINABALU:The
Education Ministry will set up a special task force to investigate the
allegation of leaked Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination questions.
The allegation was
raised by the Muslim Consumer Association of Malaysia (PPIM) yesterday.
Education Ministry's
director-general Tan Sri Abdul Ghafar Mahmud said that the ministry had
contacted the association to get further information.
"This leak was
unlikely as those papers were printed in United Kingdom, and the police had
escorted the package from there to Malaysia.
"There might be
misunderstanding in between but we will rectify the matter as soon as
possible,"he said in a press conference after attending a meeting with the
Sabah Education department head sectors, districts education officers, School
Improvement Specialist Coaches (SISC+) and School Improvement Partner (SIP+)
officers.
