Consumers are advised to be aware of the danger of using poorly-regulated beauty products or therapies.
Some were ignorant and used products that contained harmful sustances for the sake of beauty, said muslim consumer association chief activist Datuk Nadzim Johan.
” some users are aware of the dangerous and they know the products can cause death,but all they think of is temporary pleasure that they can get and not the long term effects.
” consumers need to change their attitude.
” Be more vigilant and stop using these products to avoid further danger to the body”
He called on the authorities to frequently check on beauty parlours.
” it is a good effort that they are going after beauty parlours.but for how long?
