VACCINE CLASS ACTION SUIT FILED
The plaintiffs claim that they or their next of kin suffered health damage or died after being forced to take the vaccine with unproven safety and efficacy records. Others claimed they faced discrimination at work for refusing to be vaccinated.
The lawsuit filed by Messrs Mohamad Zainuddin and Co named 25 defendants, including Malaysia’s two former and current prime ministers, the federal government, former and current health and education ministers, past and present inspector generals of police, and the director-general of the World Health Organisation as well as vaccine manufacturers Pfizer Inc, Pfizer Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Sinovac Biotech Ltd (Beijing).
The statement of claim said the first plaintiff from Muar in Johor is the eldest son of the late Saifulbahri Mohamad, who died after receiving two doses of the Sinovac vaccine and a booster shot of the Pfizer vaccine, “which are unsafe, ineffective and toxic”.
The second plaintiff is the husband of the late Andu Satu, who died after receiving two doses of the Pfizer vaccine, while the third plaintiff is a healthy grass keeping worker who was directed by his employer and the government to receive two doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
The third plaintiff suffered a stroke, resulting in speech impairment and the inability to walk normally, requiring the use of a cane due to adverse effects following vaccination.
The fourth plaintiff is a healthy masseuse who experienced chronic vomiting, severe headaches and body pain with tremors after receiving the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on Sept 1, 2021.
She is now confined to a wheelchair.
The fifth plaintiff is a healthy housewife who received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on Aug 13, 2021, after which she experienced persistent headaches and vomiting that continued for two weeks.
Upon being injected with the second dose of the same vaccine on Sept 3, she developed itching, body pain, sores and blisters.
She was later told the vaccine was unsuitable for her and she suffers ongoing body and chest pain, and vision impairment in her right eye.
The sixth plaintiff is an Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) employee.
She claims that former health minister Khairy Jamaluddin said on Oct 16, 2021 that a law would be mandated for the private sector, requiring companies to have regulations and/or policies that all employees must be fully vaccinated to work.
It is alleged in the statement of claim that Khairy had said he would “make things difficult” for those who refused the vaccine.
When the plaintiff refused to take the vaccine, which became the new policy, she was instructed by her employer and its subsidiary company to use up all her annual leave, and then take unpaid leave or resign voluntarily.
Hence, she claims discrimination.
The seventh plaintiff is a ladies’ department supervisor at Parkson Mahkota Parade in Malacca, who refused the (unnamed) vaccine and was barred from work for non-compliance with company policy requiring employees to take two doses before Aug 22, 2021.
She too was allegedly forced to take unpaid leave until vaccinated and claims discrimination.
The eighth plaintiff represented his mother, Ng Hoe Peng @ Ng Swee Chun, who complied with the government campaign and received the first dose of the Sinovac vaccine on June 14, 2022.
Ng developed severe health issues and tested positive for Covid-19, which worsened her condition.
She was hospitalised and experienced side effects, including hyper inflammation, fatal respiratory failure and hypo-immunity.
Ng was administered morphine and died on July 16 the same year.
Lawyer Mohamad Zainuddin Abu Bakar from the law firm told theSun that all the plaintiffs mentioned in the suit represent the public, who can be added to the suit instead of having hundreds of individual ones filed.
“They are the pioneering ones. More than 400 other plaintiffs from the association can be added to this class action suit under different categories as we have stated in the statement of claim,” he said.

GROUP FILES COVID-19 VACCINE CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
https://thesun.my/local_news/group-files-covid-19-vaccine-class-action-lawsuit-GH12510699
PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Muslim Consumer Association is set to initiate a class action suit against the government on behalf of those who experienced side effects or died as a result of the Covid-19 vaccination.
Its president Datuk Nadzim Johan said it is crucial to hold the authorities accountable and ensure justice for those adversely affected by the vaccines.
“The association has been vocal about our concerns regarding the safety of the Covid-19 vaccines administered in the country. When the Covid-19 pandemic struck the world, Malaysians were forced to take a vaccine whose effectiveness and safety were unproven.
“This happened because we bowed to Western pressure and followed their lead without validating test results conducted by our experts. Many Malaysians experienced side effects from the vaccines.
“Medical experts, legal practitioners and the public have been dragged to court, sentenced, and even imprisoned for raising questions about the efficacy of the vaccine. The government must be held accountable for all this.”
Nadzim also said the association received 496 complaints regarding vaccines and those discriminated against for not being vaccinated.
“Some lost their jobs. Others were barred from entering mosques and denied licences. We have classified all these incidents under discrimination.
“Some of the complainants also lodged police reports, and when they complained to us, we referred their cases to our lawyers, who advised the Health Ministry be sued,” he said.
In 2021, the government approved financial assistance for local and foreign nationals who experienced adverse effects after being injected with the Covid-19 vaccine.
Former health minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said the Perikatan Nasional government would provide RM50,000 for each case of serious side effects that require prolonged hospitalisation. It would also provide up to RM500,000 each in the event of permanent disability or death following vaccination.
Nadzim said the affected families were now demanding compensation as per the assurance, as it is their right to do so.
“Since it is challenging for victims to receive compensation by pursuing the matter on their own, we shall represent them in a class action suit in the hope that the court will mete out justice through compensation for the families,” he said.
“We are seeking compensation because none of the victims or their families can sue the vaccine manufacturers, according to World Health Organisation regulations. Purchase contracts with the vaccine manufacturers also state that they cannot be sued, so the government must bear the consequences.”
The association became aware of the side effects and evidence through the complaints by the victims.
Nadzim said any medication that has side effects should be immediately withdrawn from the market and subjected to a review.
“Post-mortems should also have been conducted on the deceased but the government did not take such action.”
He said the association has been filing civil lawsuits to defend the rights of Covid-19 victims since 2021, but the courts initially rejected their suits despite ample literature and reviews of the vaccines.
“Over the past two years, numerous scientists from Thailand and the US have disclosed research findings indicating that the mRNA vaccine can lead to severe side effects, including heart attacks and blood clots.
“These scientific findings and official admissions highlight the potential risks associated with the vaccine, which have affected many.
“All the victims were healthy when taking the vaccine, but suffered sudden changes soon after. Some became paralysed, and many died needlessly.”
Nadzim said the government has stated that it will provide wang ihsan (courtesy money) as financial relief for the victims. However, due to the economic issues in the country, it is still very difficult to obtain such assistance.

PPIM SEDIA BANTU CARI PENYELESAIAN
https://www.hmetro.com.my/mutakhir/2024/05/1091314/ppim-sedia-bantu-cari-penyelesaian
– MalaysiaGazette

PPIM TAGIH TINDAKAN SUSULAN KKM MENGENAI VAKSIN ASTRAZENECA
https://malaysiagazette.com/2024/05/16/ppim-tagih-tindakan-susulan-kkm-mengenai-vaksin-astrazeneca/
The Malaysian Muslim Consumer Association (PPIM) urged the Minister of Health, Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad to explain the follow-up action of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) after Pharmaceutical Firm AstraZeneca (AZ) admitted in court documents that their COVID-19 vaccine could cause rare side effects.
PPIM's Chief Activist, Nadzim Johan@Toqqi said the admission by AZ could directly pave the way for legal battle demanding compensation worth millions of pounds, with 51 cases presented in the High Court so far, claiming damages estimated to be worth up to £100 million (RM512 million).
"Before he (Dr Dzulkefly) labels those who do not agree with KKM as anti-vaccine and uneducated and so on, first answer what action will be taken against AZ? Is he prepared to face legal action to protect the company?" Nadzim said.
Nadzim said this in response to Dzulkefly's speech at the National Immunization Day Celebration Ceremony and the National Immunization Summit 2024 in Putrajaya yesterday.
Dzulkefly called on Malaysians not to escape the global phenomenon of spreading "misinformation" about vaccines.
In his speech, Dzulkefly raised the issue of the rise of parents who refuse vaccination for their children and poses an overall threat to public health through the re-emergence of diseases such as polio and diphtheria.
Nadzim disputed Dzulkefly's statement and asked him to be responsible for all Malaysians who suffered side effects from the AZ vaccine forced on them by the Ministry of Health.
"From whom is the wrong information he is talking about? Dzulkefly himself still does not dare to speak about the COVID-19 vaccine issue by AstraZeneca, he is not qualified to be the Minister of Health, Dzulkefly should resign!" insisted Nadzim again.
Nadzim said Dzulkefly did not carry out his duties as a Health Minister because he failed to protect Malaysians from health threats including vaccine side effects.
The consumer activist said PPIM received many complaints from the public who were angry and wanted Dzulkefly to resign for doing a ridiculous job.
"It's enough Dzulkefly, repent," he said.

"Sudahlah Dzulkefly, bertaubatlah," katanya.
