372) EMEL PILIHAN : 30 Ahadith Related To Ramadan

30 Ahadith Related To Ramadan.  From  Alhuda (International) Foundation.  Dr. Farhat Hashmi
 
1.O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous (Al-Quran)
 
2.The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful (Al-Quran)
 
3.Rasul ALLAH[ s.a.w] said Take Suhur (pre-dawn meal) as there is a blessing in it (Bukhari & Muslim) Rasul ALLAH [s.a.w] said Dates are a preferred Sehr (pre-dawn meal) for the believer (Abu-Dawud)
 
4.Rasul ALLAH [s.a.w] said Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter), so the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, “I am fasting” (Bukhari)
 
5.Rasul ALLAH [s.a.w] said The fasts of this month (Ramazan) are equal (in reward) to the fasts of 10 months (Musnad Ahmad) Whoever fasts for one day only to seek ALLAH’s Pleasure and then dies upon it, shall get Jannah as its reward
(Fath-Al-Baari)
 
6.Dua after breaking the fast:
When Rasul ALLAH [s.a.w] broke his fast he said: Thirst is quenched, the arteries are moist, and the reward is sure, if Allah wills. (Abu-Dawud)
 
7.In Ramazan when a man prays with an Imam (a leader of congregational prayer) till the Imam leaves (i.e. offers Taraweeh in congregation), he is reckoned as having spent a whole night in prayer (Tirmidhi)
 
8.Whoever provides the food for a fasting person to break his fast with, then for him is the same reward as for the person fasting, without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person (Tirmidhi)
 
9.Dua for the one who hosts the breaking of the fast:
May those who are Fasting break their Fast with you, and may the pious eat your food and may the angels send prayers upon you (Musnad Ahmad)
 
10.Fasting is a shield or protection from the fire and from committing sins (Bukhari) At every breaking of the fast Allah has people whom He frees (from the Fire) and that happens every night (Abn-e-Majah) Fasting is a shield and a safe fort to guard from the fire of Hell (Musnad Ahmad)
 
11.Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting) (Bukhari)
 
12.Fast and Qur’an will intercede for the servant on the Day of Judgment. Fast will state: “Oh my Lord! I have prevented this servant from eating and drinking and from satisfying his desires; hence accept my intercession for him”, The Qur’an will state: “Oh my Lord! I have prevented this servant from sleeping in the night (for worship); hence accept my intercession for him.” Accordingly, the intercessions of both will be accepted.” (Ahmad and Tabarani)
 
13.Allah SWT said All the deeds of Adam’s sons (people) are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it (Bukhari & Muslim)
 
14.The unpleasant smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk (Bukhari & Muslim)
 
15.There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord; then he will be pleased because of his fasting (Bukhari & Muslim)
 
16.There is a gate in Paradise called Al-Raiyyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, ‘Where are those who used to observe fasts?’ They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it (Bukhari & Muslim)
 
17.With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, Rasul ALLAH s.a.w used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers

18.Allah’s Apostle used to practice A’itikaaf in the last ten nights of Ramadan and said Look for the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights of the month of Ramadan (Bukhari)
 
Dua for Lailat-Al-Qadr — the Night of Power O Allah! You are The One Who pardons greatly, and You love to pardon, so pardon me (Tirmidhi)
 
19.Whoever stood for the prayers in the night of Qadr out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from ALLAH SWT, then all his previous sins will be forgiven (Bukhari & Muslim)
 
20.There is a Night, in this Month (of Ramazan) which has approached you, which is better than a thousand months. Whoever is unable to benefit from the blessings of this magnificent Night (Lailat-Al-Qadr) is unable to collect blessings of all kinds (Ibn-e-Majah)
 
21.The person who is unable to benefit from the blessings of this magnificent night (Lailat-Al-Qadr) is unfortunate (Ibn-e-Majah)
 
22.Hold fast to Qiyam-Al-Lail is a means of the righteous before you and indeed Qiyam-Al-Lail is a means of nearness to ALLAH SWT, a means of prevention from sin, an expiation for bad deeds and a barrier for the body against diseases (Tirmidhi & Ahmad)
 
23.Angel Gabriel used to meet Rasul ALLAH s.a.w every night of Ramadan to teach him the Qur’an
(Bukhari & Muslim )
 
24.Allah’s Apostle was the most generous of all the people, & he used to reach the peak of generosity in the month of Ramadan when Angel Gabriel met him. Allah’s Apostle was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds) (Bukhari & Muslim)
 
25.
پنجگانہ نماز، جمعہ تا جمعہ، رمضان تا رمضان، ان تمام میں کی گئی کمی کوتاہی 
گناہ وغیرہ کا کفارہ ہے اسکے لیے جو کبیرہ گناہوں سے بچتا ہو مسلم

26. Once Angle Gabriel A.S supplicated Woe be upon him who got the Month of Ramazan (in a state of health & well being) but could not earn an expatiation of his sins Rasul ALLAH s.a.w said Ameen

27.Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes down every night on the nearest Heaven to us, when the last third of the night remains, saying Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him? (Bukhari)
 
28.Allah’s Apostle never proceeded (for the prayer) on the Day of ‘Id-ul-Fitr unless he had eaten some dates. And the Prophet used to eat odd number of dates. (Bukhari)
 
29.It is Mustahib (recommended) to wear good clothes on Eid day. And it is Masnun to recite Takbiraat on way to Eidgah Allah is Great, Allah is Great, there is no God except Allah, Allah is Great, Allah is Great, and all praises are for Allah (Tirmidhi)
 
30.He who observed the fasts of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts) of Shawwal, it would be as if he fasted perpetually (Muslim)
